Guidelines for the Youth Services Department (11/16/2020)
It is our desire to provide the best learning enviornment possible. In the children and teen section of the library please keep these things in mind:
Please remember to always wear masks and maintain social distancing.
We ask that there is only one group per table.
Due to many students needing space for online learning, we highly recommend headphones whever possible as a way to reduce distractions.
Please clean up your seating area before leaving.
Please use our Cafe Table when eating.
Please make sure to check in and out with both the YS desk and the front desk.
Due to the limited amount of space we have on the 2nd floor, once we have reached 12 patrons we will open the programming room to others needing a space for learning.
In the programming room:
We have space for 5 one-on-one learning spaces (i.e. one student with one adult).
If there is a family or group desiring to use the room, you may reserve the room for one-hour time slots.
We ask that everyone wear masks while in the programming room.
Please do not use anything found in the programming room; instead, if something is needed please ask an employee and we will be glad to assist you.
Please clean your seating area before leaving.
