Homeschool Hot Spot
Tuesdays @ 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Sept. 3 - Dec. 17

Best for homeschool families with kids ages 6+

Homeschool families are invited to this relaxed style co-op where our minds can conquer

language arts projects (such as writing, research, and public speaking) and art (including visual aids and hands-on projects)

in a group setting. No curriculum requirements; bagged lunches welcome!

Mother Goose Storytime and Wee Build
Wednesdays @ 10 a.m.

Sept. 4 - Dec. 11

For kids of all ages
Join us for a lively, movement-oriented morning featuring dance, song, and, of course, a story!

Stay after storytime for socialization and constructive play with Wee Build.

Tech It Out
Wednesdays @ 6 p.m.

Sept. 4 - Nov. 20

Best for families

We’ve got gadgets and gizmos aplenty; Dash and Dot robots galore!

Bring the whole family to learn coding basics, race robots, and explore iPad apps that jump off the screen and onto the table.

Adults are encouraged to stay to ensure proper use of all technology.

PreK Explorers
Thursdays @ 10 a.m.

Sept. 5 - Dec. 12

For kids ages 3-6
Be PreK and Kindergarten ready with this hands-on learning experience.

Explore a book or two then engage in STEAM activities that will enhance the books. Fun will abound!

Pokémon Club
Thursdays @ 6 p.m. *NEW TIME*

Sept. 5 - Dec. 19

For school age kids and teens
Join fellow trainers to talk Pok
émon, have card battles, or play on your 3DS.

This is a go-with-the-flow program that's fun for newbies and experts alike.

Play & Grow (coming in October/November)
Fridays @ 10 a.m.

Oct. 25 - Nov. 22

For kids ages 0-5

Limited space; call to register

This program offers play time for caregiver and child

with the opportunity to chat with a local child development professional while playing.

Information on the child development professionals will be posted as they are scheduled.

Paws to Read with Lucy
1st Saturday of the month @ 11 a.m. *NEW DAY AND TIME*

Nintendo Club

Bring your own system and games to share, or play what we have here. Games must be family friendly.

ABC Mouse - An award-winning online curriculum for young learners (ages 2-6+), with 3,500+ interactive books, educational games, puzzles, and more!

BookFlix - Provided by POWER Library, pairs books with interactive videos of different subjects.

TrueFLIX - An editorially-selected multimedia literacy-based read aloud experience for young children including interactive games, author biographies, video adaptations, Spanish translated pairs, read alouds, digital nonfiction flipbooks, science, and social studies. Provided by Power Library.

DK Find Out - A free online encyclopedia that brings DK's visual approach to learning to the internet using sound, video, animation, quizzes, and interactive features.

POWER Kids -  On the POWER Kids webpage find the POWER Library's e-resources (Chat with a librarian, Books, movies, and more, and PA Photos and Documents) are now presented in a single, kid-friendly interface.


Macaroni Kid - A free weekly newsletter and website that delivers news on all the kid and family friendly events going on in your community. You can find all the amazing events happening in your own backyard on Macaroni Kid!
