Bike Safety

The Lawrence County Cycling Club (LCCC), renowned for its commitment to promoting healthy, active lifestyles and the sport of cycling, is pleased to announce a Bike Safety Training session. The session is scheduled to be held on August 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM.


The Club's president, Mr. Philip Tramdack, along with renowned bike safety expert Curt Savage, will be conducting this invaluable session. Their collective experience and passion for cycling promise to provide participants with a thorough and engaging training experience.


The event aims to boost the confidence of both new and seasoned cyclists, addressing crucial aspects of bike safety, such as traffic rules, helmet usage, bike maintenance, and emergency procedures. This initiative underlines LCCC's commitment to not only fostering a love for cycling but also ensuring that its members and the wider community engage in the sport safely and responsibly.


"The Lawrence County Cycling Club has always held the safety of our cyclists as our utmost priority," said Mr. Tramdack. "We believe that a confident cyclist is a safe cyclist, and through this training session, we aim to equip our participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to ride with confidence and safety."


Curt Savage, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in cycling safety, will be joining Tramdack. Savage is highly respected in the community for his approachable style and depth of knowledge.

The Bike Safety Training will be held at the New Castle Public Library.
