About the event

In celebration of Polish American Heritage Month, the Polish Americans of Lawrence County is hosting a Wycinanki event. Wycinanki is the art of papercutting. It is a folk art tradition found throughout Eastern Europe, especially in areas of Poland. The technique of layering pieces of colorful paper becomes a special collage of folding, cutting, and pasting.

Join us to learn about the history of the art and make wycinanki of your own.
