Summer Reading Kick-Off Party
Get ready to Unearth a Story this summer! Join us for our summer reading kick-off party on Saturday, May 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the library! We will travel back to a time when giants roamed the earth. We are thrilled to welcome magician Steve Haberman, who will lead us on a prehistoric journey filled with “dino-mite” illusions. The fun isn’t extinct when the show ends; Steve will be staying to twist custom balloon animals (perhaps even a T-Rex or two!) for all our young explorers. Our local community partners will also have various activities set up. While you’re at the library, make sure to register for the Summer Reading Program. Pick up your reading logs and start your quest to discover the treasures hidden within the pages of a book. Let’s dig in!

Sign Up and READ BOOKS beginning Saturday, May 30th through Saturday, August 22nd.
For our youth patrons (ages 0 - 12):
In your summer reading bag, there will be a BINGO card and a book coloring tracker so our youngest readers may color and see their success. Choose an option that works for you or do all three!
Reading 20 Books completes our Summer Reading Club.
Independent Readers: Books over 100 pages count as TWO books.
For each group of five books, your child chooses a prize from our Box-o-Prizes and a Brag Tag. On the back of the reading log is space to record extra reading for additional prizes.

Summer Reading Party
Our end of Summer Reading Party is Saturday, August 29th beginning at noon! Our youth patrons will received their certificates at the party.
