Come get your cozy on and join your friends and future friends for a night of pizza and movie fun! This movie night kicks-off our summer reading series with the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a teen coming-of-age film.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is based on the book of the same name by Stephen Chbosky, who also directs the film. This film features 15-year-old Charlie, (Logan Lerman) an endearing and naive outsider, dealing with first love, the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The shy freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller), who welcome him to the real world.
