Learn an essential financial lesson perfect for teens, namely how to afford the fun things you want, while also saving money for the essentials in life. Teens and tweens will first work as a group to classify expenses. They will then be introduced to the "envelope method" of budgeting. Then, young adults will set out for adventure, discovering stations with items for sale, which they will have to pay for only the money from the proper envelopes. All students receive candy for playing, but those who end up with the proper amount of money remaining in each envelope will get a special theme-prize. Using fake money, computing skills, and team-work, New Castle teens will learn lessons that they can use as they transition to adulthood.
