Crochet Together: Fun with Fidgets is a virtual crochet program designed to teach participants how to create two unique fidget toys: a marble fidget and a Mobius strip fidget. Through step-by-step YouTube video tutorials and a downloadable PDF guide (containing written instructions and diagrams), beginner and intermediate crocheters will learn essential techniques like chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch while also gaining tips for customization. This program is perfect for teens, adults, and anyone seeking stress relief or improved focus through crafting. Participants will not only develop their crochet skills and fine motor skills but also learn about the benefits of fidget toys for sensory stimulation and stress reduction. The self-paced virtual format allows for flexible learning, and 20 participants will receive a free kit (first come, first served) containing yarn and a crochet hook available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
