About the event
Patrons would be invited to make their own bead lizard keychain. This craft is easy to do, and it doesn’t take up much space in the home. It makes a fun addition to a keyring, or even just a nice thing to hang up around the home.
The bead lizard is made by threading beads through a ribbon in a way that creates a lizard shaped pattern. From there, the ribbon is tied to a keychain. Materials will be provided by the library. A take-home tutorial will also be provided, if anyone wants it. The tutorial is at https://www.freekidscrafts.com/beaded-gecko-pattern/. We have plenty of yarn and string in the craft room upstairs for this craft.
