Master Gardeners: "Winter Sowing"

Master Gardeners Present “Winter Sowing” at NCPL


The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County will present “Winter Sowing” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at New Castle Public Library, 207 E. North St., New Castle, PA.


Get a jump on your garden by planting your seedlings now. Raid your recycling bin and bring 2 liter soda bottles and milk jugs to make your own miniature greenhouses. This no fuss method will give you seedlings ready to transplant at the perfect time.


The event is free and open to the public.
