Local author, Steve Ramey, will sign copies of his book Glass Animals and offer a brief talk on Saturday, February 16th beginning at 11:30. Glass Animals is a collection of short stories with a “stunning array of characters”.

Susan Urbanek Linville will be presenting tips on how to learn more about your historic New Castle home. Many of the resources used are available at the library. Copies of her book, Historic New Castle Neighborhoods, will be available.

The Bus for Us the PA One Book Every Young Child by Suzanne Bloom will be featured. Bring the whole family!

Students from Slippery Rock University have planned this fundraiser to celebrate Earth Day and to raise monies for the library. Join them and plant your own family tree. Seedlings will be available. Decorate your flower pot and give the library some “green” loving with a donation of $5.00.
