Mother Goose Story Time

Mother Goose Story Time is for children ages 6 months up to 4 years old. Children will learn nursery rhymes, sing songs, and do finger play. Older siblings may come along, and no reservations are required!

Book Cellar
Mar 1 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

The Book Cellar is operated by the Friends of the Library. It is located in the basement and open to all.

Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Celebration

Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on the birthday of Dr. Seuss. New Castle is doing their part and is planning to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, March 1st with a few of his famous books and some foods that are mentioned in those books. There will be crafts and prizes. Make sure you keep this Saturday, March 1st open to celebrate Dr. Seuss and reading. Call to reserve your spot—Space will be limited. 724-658-6659, ext 106.

Computer Classes
Mar 3 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Basic computer classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings @ 9:00 and 10:30 beginning on 2/26/14. Registration is required. This class is for beginners and will teach how to use a mouse, what the desktop icons are for, and how to set up an email account. Call extension 107 to register!
