Tech Tuesdays will feature 1/2 hour session at 1:00 pm offering instruction for children and adults on navigating and using resources on the library web site. Stop in the Copernicus Room on the 1st floor of the library with your child, grandchild, or even a neighbor’s child to learn what we offer for kids on the web and through our online catalog! Register by calling 724-658-6659, ext. 106.
Mother Goose Story Time is for children ages 6 months up to 4 years old. Children will learn nursery rhymes, sing songs, and do finger play. Older siblings may come along, and no reservations are required!
Pre-school story time is meant for children ages 3-5 who have had more experience in a group setting. They may be more likely to interact with the storyteller. The parent may stay with their child or if the child feels comfortable, the parent may take that time to browse for books.
This story time session is meant to last 30-45 minutes. The librarian may use more than 2 books, and ask and expect more conversation from the children. A short film (less than 10 minutes) will be shown, as well. The child will make a craft and should be able to work more independently to finish it. Please remember that all children are unique and develop at their own pace.
Family Nite will be on Thursday evening, November 21st at 6:30 pm. A night of harvest celebration and thanks for all ages!
