Toddler Family Place
Apr 8 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

The traditional Toddler Story Time has taken on a slight twist with the inclusion of some parts of the Family Place Workshop. It is now called Toddler Family Place. What makes it different are toys. The Children’s Story Room will be transformed into a Toyland. The toys are meant for children under 3, as is the program. Children have the opportunity to play with the toys and other children their age. The caregivers have an opportunity to play with their child and socialize with other parents, grandparents or babysitter. Clean-up is part of the program and all are to assist at putting the toys away. Once the toys are out of sight, a very short picture book is read, nursery rhymes are acted out, and songs are sung. It sounds like a lot but the program is complete in 1 hour. Due to limited amount of space interested parties should call to register at 724-658-6659, ext. 106. This program begins in October, on all Tuesdays, until the end of November.
